The ability of these designs to represent a subject in detail is limited, given the nature of formline. A lot of the interpretation process is up to me taking liberties and I might have to move around or omit certain things in order to make it work or look prettier!

No major edits other than colour adjustments. I'm able to make minor changes to the design during the sketching stage, but not after I've started colouring; I always show clients the finished sketch, so any concerns should be brought up at that point! Colours on the head or the background can always be adjusted.

The first 4 examples are from 2023-2024, while the rest are from 2021. If you've commissioned me before to draw a character and would like a redo with the same character in my newer style, get in touch with me and I might be able to give you a discount since the design would be similar!

Please let me know upfront if you have specific prompts or preferences! I'm okay with as much artistic freedom as you're willing to give me, but it's best to know anything you have in mind from the start rather than bringing it up later when I can't make major edits. I also work best when I have some kind of suggestion for the theming, whether it's just "fire and smoke" or based in the character's lore/background.

To keep things simpler, I'd prefer to stick with abstract settings (like fire, smoke, decorative shapes, etc.) as opposed to a scenic environment.

Additional fees may be charged for "extras" like complex props, outfits, extra characters, or extraneous limbs (e.g. multiple heads or sets of wings). One extra adds 40-80 USD; any more will be a case-by-case basis.

I send two WIPs for client approval—once for the sketch, and another with flatcolours. Up to three major edits are allowed during sketching (such as limb pose changes), and one sketch do-over only if necessary. Once the sketch is approved, I will only accept a few detail edits or colour adjustments.
